Admissions Welcome To help you make that decision and to guide you through the admissions process at Forest, we warmly invite you to come and visit us. Throughout the year we hold a number of events where you can meet and talk to staff and be given a tour in order to help you get to know the School and pick up on the distinct feel of Forest.
Forest School offers approximately 140 places for boys and girls at age 11 in September each year. They will join our pupils from the Preparatory School to form eight single-sex classes in Year 7. Entry requirements. Candidates should have reached the age of 11 before 1 September in the year of entry. Selection criteria.
Siblings at the School. The application from a sibling of a current pupil will be viewed sympathetically but a sibling must win a place at the School on the same basis as any other applicant. Nonetheless Forest is proud of its reputation as a family school and pleased to admit siblings.Go straight on at the first set of lights, and left at the second onto Snaresbrook Road. Take the first left into The Forest, which leads to the School gate. (End of motorway is less than five minutes from the School). North Circular: East or West bound. Leave North Circular Road by Waterworks roundabout signposted for Woodford and Epping.There is a 10% discount for a third child while all three are at Snaresbrook Prep School. The Early Years grant from the government is currently available for children in the Nursery and some Reception children.

We expect all pupils to arrive punctually to school, and anyone not in lessons by 08:30 will be deemed to be late. 08:20: Staff on Duty. Pupils arrive on premises.
Surrounded by ancient forest and only 30 minutes from central London, Forest School is an independent day school located on the edge of Epping Forest. One of the very few diamond structure schools in the country, our 1,300 boys and girls, aged between 4 and 18, are taught in single-sex classes from 7-16 before joining a coeducational Sixth Form.

Forest School London. The nearest grammar school to our Accelerate Learning Centre in Manor Park is Forest School London. This independent school is located on the edge of Epping Forest, in Snaresbrook, Northeast London, just a 20 minute drive from our tuition centre.

Loughborough opened its own Forest School in late 2016, working with a local nursery to establish the initiative using the University’s Holywell Wood. The children visit the woodland three to four days per week throughout the year, where they are given opportunities to explore the area, learn to identify the flora and fauna, as well as make fires, build dens and climb trees.
